Nonstandard or classic collector car insurance is very similar to standard insurance. However there are still differences. One of the differences is the usage of the car. Collector cars are rarely used and most of the times only kept for show. Insurance would depend on the condition of your car.
There are certain limitations to this insurance. Your car must age for at least a minimum of 15 years. Components of your car should also be original and still in good condition. Another difference from the standard car insurance is that there is an “agreed value” for classic collector insurance. It will be the one who bought the classic car who will determine the price of your premium.
